Getting to know each other

During your first appointment, we will take the time to get to know you. We will also make sure to answer any questions you have about our services. We encourage you to voice all questions and concerns regarding your dental health. This allows us to tailor our services to meet your specific needs.

In order to customize your care plan, we need to be aware of your medical history. Some medical conditions and medications may alter your treatment needs. We will ask for a complete list of your medications and their dosages, including any herbal supplements or vitamins.

Next, we will take a series of digital x-rays to examine the hard structures of your entire mouth. 

After these initial steps, we will conduct a thorough oral exam. This includes analyzing your teeth and jaw, and the soft tissue of your mouth and gums. We finish the exam with a non-invasive oral cancer screening.
